codespell software package provides find and fix common misspellings in text files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install codespell
codespell is installed in your system.
Make ensure the codespell package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep codespell *
You will get with codespell package name, version, architecture and description in a table
